SINGAPORE, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- Singapore reported 1,262 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the total tally to 2,186,214.
A total of 103 cases are currently warded in hospitals, with five of them held in intensive care units, according to statistics released by the Ministry of Health.
One new death from COVID-19 was reported on Thursday, taking the total death toll to 1,709. ■
