MOSCOW, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- Russia registered 5,561 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the nationwide tally to 21,628,829, the official monitoring and response center said Tuesday.
The nationwide death toll increased by 59 to 392,342, while the number of recoveries grew by 6,690 to 21,030,317, it said.
Meanwhile, Moscow reported 963 new cases, taking its total to 3,263,637. ■
