BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Brunei logged a daily average of 503 new COVID-19 cases in the past week compared to 643 cases per day the week before, official statistics released on Monday showed.
According to the health ministry's weekly briefing, 46,245 Antigen Rapid Test (ART) test results were uploaded to the government platform within one week, with 7.5 percent of them being positive.
Currently, two hospitalized cases are held in the intensive care unit and one case requires oxygen assistance, the health ministry said.
As of Dec. 4, 78.9 percent of Brunei's population have received three doses of COVID-19 vaccines, while 11.3 percent have taken the fourth dose.
The COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, and China's Sinopharm are administered in the Southeast Asian country. ■
