BEIJING, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Three Chinese astronauts aboard the country's Tiangong space station have issued a short video clip expressing their eagerness to meet the Shenzhou-15 crew, who are due to launch into space on Tuesday night.
In the clip, released by the China Astronaut Research and Training Center ahead of the Shenzhou-15 rocket launch, the Shenzhou-14 mission astronauts, wearing similar tailor-made azure pullovers, voiced their warm welcome to the upcoming arrivals.
"I miss you guys so much," said Commander Chen Dong, who was in good spirits, his forefinger pointing at an on-shirt cartoon design of the T-shape space station combination and Chinese characters reading "Old Friends are coming."
Liu Yang, the female astronaut in the trio, read the line on her pullover -- "Heavenly Palace is waiting for you." Heavenly Palace is the literal meaning of Tiangong.
"Bros, let's hug first," said astronaut Cai Xuzhe in the video.
The Shenzhou-15 manned spaceship is expected to be launched at 11:08 p.m. Tuesday (Beijing Time) from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. ■
