MOSCOW, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Russia registered 5,048 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the nationwide tally to 21,579,812, said the official monitoring and response center on Monday.
The center said the nationwide death toll increased by 50 to 391,890, while the number of recoveries grew by 4,262 to 20,986,290.
Meanwhile, Moscow reported 783 new cases, taking its total to 3,254,496. ■
