HULA VALLEY, ISRAEL, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- Every year, numerous birds leave their nesting grounds in Europe and cross Israel on their way to the wintering grounds in Africa.
The Hula Valley area in northern Israel is considered a significant stop for migrating birds to fuel up due to the favorable natural conditions.
