TORONTO, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- The Toronto Raptors defeated the Dallas Mavericks 105-100 in Saturday's NBA game thanks to a season-high 22 points and 13 rebounds off the bench from big man Chris Boucher.

The 29-year-old native of Saint Lucia continued his recent strong play with his third straight double-double. Over the past six games, Boucher has averaged 18.0 points and 10.3 rebounds a game in 31 minutes of action.

"He was a spark plug in the first half when we got off to such a slow start. That got us some confidence going," praised Raptors head coach Nick Nurse after the victory.

After signing a three-year extension totalling 35 million US dollars this offseason, Boucher has settled into a comfortable role off the bench. In the 15 games he's played this season, he's led the team in bench scoring in 13 games.

Toronto also got contributions from Fred VanVleet and forward O.G. Anunoby, who chipped in with 26 points each.

With the win, the Raptors improved to 10-9 on the season and 7-2 at home. Enditem.
