ADDIS ABABA, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Within just a few weeks of operation, a China-aided science museum in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia has attracted large numbers of visitors.
According to figures from the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Center, more than 700,000 science enthusiasts from Ethiopia and beyond have visited the museum since it was officially opened on Oct. 4.
The museum, the first of its kind in Africa, is expected to serve as a platform where scientific innovations will be conceived and born to support the growth and development of Ethiopia.
The science museum is a major part of the China-aided Addis Ababa Riverside Green Development Project Phase II, which is appreciated by many locals.
