WASHINGTON, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- The Utah Jazz held off the Portland Blazers 118-113 for the top position in the Western Conference of the NBA on Saturday while the Atlanta Hawks nipped the Toronto Raptors 124-122 in overtime.

Jordan Clarkson scored 15 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter as the Jazz won the battle between two top teams in the West to lead the Conference with a 12-6 record.

The Blazers lost their star guard Damian Lillard late in the third quarter after he aggravated the right calf injury that saw him miss four games earlier this season.

Malik Beasley led the Jazz with 29 points and Lauri Markkanen added 23 with 10 rebounds.

In Atlanta, Trae Young threw a long pass to A.J. Griffin for a wide-open layup at the overtime buzzer to give Atlanta a win over the Raptors.

Young finished with 33 points and 12 assists, De'Andre Hunter contributed 22 points and Clint Capela had 18 points and 14 rebounds for the Hawks.

Also on Saturday, the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Philadelphia 76ers 112-109, the Indiana Pacers edged the Orlando Magic 114-113 and the Los Angeles Clippers trounced the San Antonio Spurs 119-97.
