MOSCOW, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- Russia registered 5,217 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the nationwide tally to 21,536,229, said the official monitoring and response center on Sunday.
The center said the nationwide death toll increased by 59 to 391,454, while the number of recoveries grew by 4,443 to 20,943,924.
Meanwhile, Moscow reported 808 new cases, taking its total to 3,246,635. ■
