FUZHOU, Nov. 20 (Xinhua) -- The local government of Fuzhou in southeast China's Fujian Province has been making efforts in recent years to expand the city's green spaces.
Apart from its famous "Fudao", an urban forest trail, the city also boasts many footpaths and riverside greenways. The forest coverage rate of the city is 58.36 percent.
To make good use of mountains and forest resources in the city while maintaining the characteristics of the urban landscape, the Fuzhou government will continuously give better consideration to environmental protection and human development.
