SINGAPORE, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's non-oil domestic exports (NODX) declined by 5.6 percent year on year in October, after the 3.1 percent growth in September, Enterprise Singapore, a government agency, announced on Thursday.

This indicates that the consecutive 22 months of NODX year-on-year growth has ended.

In a breakdown, the electronic NODX decreased by 9.3 percent year on year in October, following the 10.6 percent decrease in September. The non-electronic NODX declined by 4.5 percent year on year in September, compared to the 7.6 percent growth in the previous month.

On a month-on-month seasonally adjusted basis, Singapore's NODX decreased by 3.7 percent in October to 15.9 billion Singapore dollars (11.6 billion US dollars), after the previous month's 3.9 percent decline.

Singapore's non-oil re-exports (NORX) increased by 6.4 percent year on year this October, following the 20.2 percent growth in the previous month. Both electronic and non-electronic NORX grew.

Singapore's oil domestic exports expanded by 33.1 percent year on year in October, easing from the revised 56.5 percent growth in September.
