As the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway (HSR), stretching 142 km from the Indonesian capital to Bandung, is taking shape on the densely populated Java Island, a rap about this first HSR in both the country and Southeast Asia also becomes an internet hit.
Akbar Fernando, the rapper and a college student, said he was inspired by not only the HSR but also the interaction and friendship between the Chinese and Indonesian people dating back to thousands of years ago.
