NEW DELHI, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- India's daily COVID-19 caseload Wednesday increased to 501, officials said.
According to federal health ministry data released on Wednesday morning, 501 new cases of COVID-19 were reported.
According to data released by the government, the active caseload stands at 7,561.
The country also logged two more COVID-19-related deaths, taking the overall death toll to 530,535 since the beginning of the pandemic, the ministry said.
According to the ministry, 44,128,580 people have been cured and discharged from hospitals in the South Asian country. ■
