BEIJING, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- The second stage matches of the 2022-23 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) regular season will be staged in Zhuji, east China's Zhejiang Province from December 6, the league's governing body announced here on Tuesday.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, the second stage will continue to adopt a championship format, meaning that all 20 teams will play matches in Zhuji.
Zhuji is a familiar location to the CBA, as the city hosted the entire 2020-21 season and the first phase of the 2021-22 regular season.
After the first stage of the current campaign, which featured a total of nine rounds in Hangzhou in October, the Zhejiang Golden Bulls sit atop the standings with a perfect winning record.
The CBA also announced on Tuesday that the 2022 All-Star Weekend, originally set for Qingdao between October 2 and 4, has also been moved to Zhuji, and will take place from December 1 to 3. ■
