DONGYING, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- In 2018, Dongying in east China's Shandong Province was accredited by the Ramsar Convention as an international wetland city. Nearly 42 percent of the city's land area is covered by 14 types of wetlands, including coastal tidal flats, riverine wetlands and swamps.
