ALGIERS, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- South Korea overcame Iran to win the men's team gold at the International Fencing Federation (FIE) sabre World Cup here on Sunday.
South Korea defeated Iran 45-34 in the final, with Germany taking third place.
In the women's team final, France beat Italy to take gold. The bronze medal went to South Korea after they defeated Spain.
Sandro Bazadze of Georgia and Lucia Martin-Portugues of Spain won titles in men's and women's individual events held on Friday and Saturday. ■
