BEIRUT, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- More than 12,000 runners from 60 countries and regions took part on Sunday in the Beirut International Marathon 2022, the National News Agency reported.
The marathon was organized by the Beirut Marathon Association in the Beirut Waterfront area under the slogan "I am Beirut."
Ethiopian runner Metko Dekiba won the men's 42km race in 2:14:21, while his compatriot Mologu Ambe claimed the women's title in 2:28:57. ■
