ROME, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Napoli continued their fearsome form in Serie A as they saw off Udinese 3-2 at home on Saturday, entering the World Cup break with 11 consecutive wins.

Despite playing without star player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Napoli were still dominant as a pair of strikes from Victor Osimhen and Piotr Zielinski put them firmly in charge at half time, before Eljif Elmas added the third after the break.

However, the Partenopei tended to be sluggish in the closing stage, allowing Ilija Nestorovski and Lazar Samardzic to pull two goals back.

The win gives Napoli an 11-point lead over second-placed Lazio and AC Milan who meet Juventus and Fiorentina respectively on Sunday.

Elsewhere, Bologna conquered Sassuolo 3-0 and Lecce sailed away with a 2-0 victory over Sampdoria.
