ISLAMABAD, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan has reported 48 new COVID-19 cases, the country's ministry of health said on Saturday.
The overall tally of infected people climbed to 1,574,597 across the country with the fresh cases, according to the data released by the ministry.
A total of 30,629 people died of COVID-19 in Pakistan, with no new death reported on Friday, according to the ministry's statistics.
On Friday, 6,542 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan whereas the positivity rate stood at 0.73 percent.
There are 55 patients who are in critical condition in the country. ■
