MOSCOW, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Russia registered 5,514 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, taking the nationwide tally to 21,494,588, said the official monitoring and response center on Saturday.
The center said the nationwide death toll increased by 62 to 390,964, while the number of recoveries grew by 5,717 to 20,896,445.
Meanwhile, Moscow reported 975 new cases, taking its total to 3,240,152. ■
