HANGZHOU, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Data from China's State Post Bureau show that more than 552 million parcels were handled during China's Singles' Day shopping festival on Nov. 11.
That's 1.8 times the number handled on a regular day.
From Nov. 1 to 11, China's postal stations and express firms delivered a total of more than 4.27 billion parcels.
The Singles' Day shopping festival, also known as "Double 11" as it falls on Nov. 11, has become China's annual e-commerce bonanza.
