BEIJING, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Brazilian striker Cryzan scored twice on Saturday as Shandong Taishan trounced Hebei FC 4-0 for its fifth straight win in the Chinese Super League (CSL).
Despite controlling the ball for most of the first half, Shandong failed to test Hebei's young goalkeeper Wang Nianjiangcheng, except a glancing header from Marouane Fellaini.
After a goalless first half, Shandong broke the deadlock in the 61st minute as Cryzan converted a penalty for being barged off the ball by Hebei defender Zhang Junzhe. Chen Pu doubled the lead after two minutes with a close-range shot.
Hebei conceded the third in the 65th minute when the substitute Wu Xinghan found space in the box and headed home a decisive goal.
In the 79th minute, Cryzan scored a brace to give Shandong a resounding victory after Zheng Zheng sent him galloping deep into the box with a through pass.
In other action, Meizhou Hakka defeated Guangzhou City 1-0, Chengdu Rongcheng got past Shanghai Shenhua 3-2, and Tianjin Jinmen Tiger beat Changchun Yatai 3-2. ■
