YAOUNDE, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon played out a 1-1 draw against visiting Jamaica in a FIFA World Cup warmup on Wednesday.

Justin McMaster scored for Jamaica in the 60th minute. Cameroon substitute Djamal Kaiba leveled the score in the 74th minute.

Coach Rigobert Song had to use home-based players to play the game because it fell outside the FIFA window for international matches.

The game was played at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in the capital of Yaounde.

Just before the match started, the Director of Civil Cabinet, Samuel Mvondo Ayolo, handed over the country's flag to team captain Vincent Aboubakar.

"I am handing over to you the flag of the Republic, which is the most significant national emblem. You are therefore called upon to honorably represent Cameroon at the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup," Ayolo said.

Cameroon has been drawn in Group G with Switzerland, Serbia and five-time world champion Brazil. The Indomitable Lions will kick off their group stage against Switzerland on Nov. 24.
