FREETOWN, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- The Budapest-Bamako reached Kambia District in Sierra Leone's northwest on Sunday.
Participants are poised to spend two nights in the West African country before they reach the finish line in Freetown on Tuesday.
Kaarel Kuik, a participant from Estonia, said he was happy to be part of the rally for the second time.
"I enjoy Sierra Leone and am looking forward to an exciting finish line event in its capital Freetown," he said.
The Budapest-Bamako rally is the world's largest amateur vehicular rally. The 19-day event sees 600 participants with 250 vehicles and 350 motorbikes taking part. ■
