BEIJING, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will pay an official visit to China on Tuesday at the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.
Born in 1951, Sharif served as the chief minister of the Punjab province in 1997, 2008 and 2013.
In March 2018, he was elected as the president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
In April 2022, he was elected as the prime minister of Pakistan.
It is his first visit to China since he assumed Pakistan's premiership. ■
