ISLAMABAD, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan has reported 38 new COVID-19 cases, the country's ministry of health said on Monday.
The overall tally of the infected people climbed to 1,574,067 across the country after adding the fresh cases, according to the data released by the ministry.
A total of 30,626 people died of COVID-19 in Pakistan, with no more death reported, according to the ministry's statistics.
On Sunday, 5,473 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan whereas the positivity rate stood at 0.69 percent.
There are 48 patients who are in critical condition in the country. ■
