MOSCOW, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- Russia registered 7,606 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, taking the nationwide tally to 21,409,815, the official monitoring and response center said Friday.
The nationwide death toll increased by 78 to 389,950, while the number of recoveries grew by 11,685 to 20,775,589, the center said.
Meanwhile, Moscow reported 762 new cases, taking its total to 3,228,799. ■
