SYDNEY, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- With over 100 sculptures by Australian and international artists, the free-to-public outdoor exhibition dubbed "Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi" is drawing visitors to the iconic Bondi Beach in Sydney's east, which will run until Nov. 7.

The 2 km Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk was once again decorated with art installations featuring various materials that include metal, glass, polyethylene and augmented reality technologies.

About 450,000 visitors were expected to enjoy the seaside sculpture show.

Though being postponed in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the returning 24th edition of the exhibition staged a series of artworks focusing on climate change and environmental protection.

The 3-meter-tall, cone-shaped installation "Just a Drop in the Ocean" was created from objects washed up on Sydney beaches, intending to raise people's awareness about marine pollution.
