MOSCOW, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- Russia has registered 8,672 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, taking the nationwide tally to 21,372,935, the official monitoring and response center said Sunday.
The nationwide death toll increased by 88 to 389,537, while the number of recoveries increased by 10,578 to 20,719,106.
Meanwhile, Moscow reported 756 new cases, taking its total to 3,225,014. ■
