China have risen by one spot to 15th in the latest FIFA women's rankings, despite not playing any matches in the past two months.
GENEVA, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- The United States remain on top of the latest FIFA women's rankings released on Thursday, while China are up by one slot.
Despite losing 2-0 to Spain in a friendly on Tuesday, the U. S. still collected the most ranking points, with 2087.48.
Sweden have 2066.3 points to take second place ahead of Germany, with 2064.75 points. England and France remain fourth and fifth respectively.
China have risen one spot to 15th despite not playing any matches in the past two months.
The rankings will be used to determine the seedings for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup draw, which will be held on October 22 in Auckland, New Zealand. ■
