MOSCOW, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- Russia has registered 21,687 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, taking the nationwide tally to 21,094,872, the official monitoring and response center said Tuesday.
The nationwide death toll increased by 107 to 387,666, while the number of recoveries grew by 45,437 to 20,221,339, the center said.
Meanwhile, Moscow reported 1,442 new cases, taking its total to 3,202,944. ■
