The median monthly salaries and wages in Malaysia accelerated by 9.1 percent to 2,250 ringgit (484 U.S. dollars) in 2021 as compared to the previous year, the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) said in its salaries and wages survey report.
According to the report, the rise in median and average monthly salaries and wages was partly due to the continuous resumption of economic and social activities during the second half of the year.
