NANCHANG, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) -- A voluntary service project named "time bank" for the aged citizens was launched in Donghu District of Nanchang in 2017.
The project encourages healthy elders and other volunteers to provide voluntary service for seniors over 80 years in the community. Other senior people in need are also included in the project.
Volunteers can deposit their service records with the "time bank" in exchange for various commodities and senior care service for themselves.
