As one of the major crop growing regions in China, Fengqiu County in Henan Province has been promoting the comprehensive utilization of corn straw, turning it into feed, fertilizer and raw material.
The local government has set up more than 10 straw collection and storage service companies and 210 straw collection and storage stations, covering the whole county.
The comprehensive utilization of straw also saves agricultural production costs and boosts the green and sustainable development of agriculture.
