LHASA, Oct. 1, 2022 (Xinhua) -- The second passageway to Medog County is a 67.22-km highway connecting Pad Township in the city of Nyingchi and Medog County, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The first one connects the county with Zhamog Township, Bomi County.
After the new highway opens to traffic, the length of the road connecting the city proper of Nyingchi and Medog County will be shortened to 180 km from 346 km, cutting travel time to four hours.
