BEIJING, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- Cangzhou Mighty Lions striker Jose Kante has been voted the best player of the Chinese Super League (CSL) 17th round ties.
Kante, who celebrated his 32nd birthday on Tuesday, got a maximum of 100 points from media and fans representatives, according to a CSL statement.
Kante won the favor of voters through his four-goal feat in Cangzhou's 4-3 win over leaders Wuhan Three Towns on Saturday.
Cangzhou currently sits 15th in the standings, while Wuhan leads the table with a four-point advantage. ■
