China has announced a 12-strong roster for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup in Australia, which includes WNBA players Han Xu and Li Yueru.
BEIJING, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) -- China announced its roster for the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 on Tuesday, two days ahead of the tip-off of the quadrennial global basketball showpiece.
The 12 players to compete at the World Cup are Li Yuan, Wang Siyu, Wu Tongtong, Yang Liwei, Jin Weina, Li Meng, Zhang Ru, Huang Sijing, Pan Zhenqi, Dilana Dilixiati, Li Yueru and Han Xu.
The 12-team FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup will be staged in Sydney, Australia between September 22 and October 1.
China has been drawn in Group A with Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Puerto Rico, South Korea and the United States. China will kick off its campaign against South Korea on Thursday.
Top four finishers in each group will advance to the quarterfinals.
