SOFIA, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Sofia Raffaeli of Italy won the individual all-around gold medal at the 39th FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships here on Saturday evening.
Raffaeli gained 133.250 points, followed by Darja Varfolomeev of Germany with 132.450, and Stiliana Nikolova of Bulgaria with 128.800.
The three medalists also qualified their nations for the individuals places available for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
China's Zhao Yating was among the 18 individual all-around finalists, and took the 16th place.
In the individual apparatus events earlier this week, Raffaeli won the gold medals in hoop, ball and ribbon, while Varfolomeev grabbed the title in clubs. ■
