JERUSALEM, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Israeli basketball Super League club Hapoel Tel Aviv has signed former NBA player Jaylen Hoard, the club announced in a statement on Thursday.

The 23-year-old French-American small forward played college basketball at Wake Forest before joining the NBA in 2019.

Hoard has played a total of 39 NBA regular season games for the Portland Trail Blazers and the Oklahoma City Thunder, averaging 6.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 17 minutes per game. He also played three NBA playoff games in Portland in 2020.

"Jaylen is a quality and talented player, who will help us against the challenges we face in the EuroCup and the Israeli league," said Hapoel head coach Danny Franco.
