BELGRADE, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- Turkey climbed to the top of team rankings at the World Wrestling Championships after Riza Kayaalp beat Iran's Amin Mirzazadeh for the men's Greco-Roman 130kg title here on Tuesday.

Although four Serbian wrestlers claimed titles in the men's Greco-Roman style to announce an early domination of the host country, Turkey topped the table with 125 points, followed by Kyrgyzstan (118) and Serbia (110).

With Erbatu Tuo's bronze medal in the 63kg category, China ranked 12th with 37 points in the men's Greco-Roman.

Also on Tuesday, Zholaman Sharshenbekov from Kyrgyzstan stunned Bulgaria's Edmond Armen Nazaryan 11-2 to take gold in the 60kg category.

In the women's freestyle wrestling, Mayu Shidochi Mukaida of Japan defeated Ukraine's Oleksandra Khomenets 10-0 in the 55kg final, while Japan's Nonoka Ozaki smashed Kayla Colleen Kiyoko Miracle of the United States 10-0 for the 62kg gold.

Luo Xiaojuan brought China its second medal as she and Illona Prokopevnuiuk of Ukraine shared bronze medals in the 62kg category.

Her compatriot Long Jia reached the final of women's 65kg category and will take on Japanese Miwa Morikawa in the gold medal bout on Wednesday.

The World Wrestling Championships, from September 10 to 18, gather over 800 professional wrestlers from across the world to compete in men's Greco-Roman, men's freestyle and women's freestyle.
