BELGRADE, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- Serbian wrestlers won two gold medals in the Greco-Roman style at the ongoing United World Wrestling Championships here on Sunday.
Zurabi Datunashvili defeated Turpan Ali Alvievich Bisultanov of Denmark 6-2 in the 87kg category and Ali Feizollah Arsalan beat Ulvi Ganizade from Azerbaijan 7-4 in the 72kg category to win golds for the hosts.
Akzhoi Makhmudov of Kyrgyzstan claimed a one-sided 8-0 victory over Levai of Hungary in the 77kg final, coming out the first male Greco-Roman world champion from his country.
Also on Sunday, European champion Eladniz Azizli from Azerbaijan took the 55kg gold after beating Nugzari Tsurtsumia.
The tournament, slated on September 10-18, features more than 800 athletes in the men's Greco-Roman, men's freestyle and women's freestyle categories. ■
