ZHENGZHOU, Sept. 11, 2022 (Xinhua) -- Luo Yuhang is a seamless rail-welding technician in Zhengzhou section of China Railway Zhengzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd. It is his duty to ensure the quality of every seamless rail at his welding base.
The seamless rail, also known as continuous welded rail which eliminates rail joints, can improve the duration of steel rails, reduce the maintenance costs of locomotives and tracks, improve the stability and speed of trains, as well as enhance travel comfort.

One single rail can be as long as 100 meters. Five rails would be welded together with high precision. Thus a super-long rail would be created.
