BEIJING, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as Mooncake Festival, is observed by millions of people on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar. This year, the day falls on Sept. 10.

As Chinese culture is gaining popularity worldwide, people from different countries are celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the most important festival in Chinese tradition, through various activities including mooncake making, moon gazing and displaying lanterns.
