JERUSALEM, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- A Vietnamese government delegation is visiting Israel to discuss cooperation in agriculture and agricultural technology, the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry said Tuesday.
During the six-day visit which will last until Saturday, the Vietnamese delegation will visit "kibbutz," a form of cooperative agricultural settlement unique to Israel, and learn how to facilitate the establishment of it.
The Vietnamese delegation also plans to examine the technologies relevant to Vietnamese agricultural corporations, and visit Volcani Institute for agricultural research in central Israel.
The visit was initiated by the Israeli ministry's Economic and Trade Mission in Vietnam and led by Vietnam's Ministry of Planning and Investment. ■
