GUANGZHOU, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- Bailu, or White Dew, is the 15th of the 24 solar terms in the Chinese lunar calendar. It falls on Sept. 7 this year.
Temperatures gradually go down and vapors in the air often condense into white droplets on the grass and trees at night.
The 24 solar terms consist of 12 major solar terms and 12 minor solar terms.
The 24 solar terms were created thousands of years ago by the ancient Chinese to guide agricultural production.
