ISLAMABAD, Sept. 5 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan reported 190 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the overall number of confirmed cases to 1,570,206, its ministry of health said on Monday.
The new infections were detected after diagnostic testing was performed on 13,735 samples.
A total of 30,593 people died of COVID-19 in Pakistan, with two more deaths reported on Sunday, said the ministry.
There are 119 patients who are in critical condition in the country. ■
