ISLAMABAD, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan's bodybuilding team departed on Wednesday to participate in the Asian Session Bodybuilding Championship to be held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, an official told Xinhua.
President of Pakistan Body Building Federation Tariq Pervaiz said that the ten best bodybuilders from all over the country were selected for the event with high hopes to win honors.
According to the official, it is the biggest team ever in the number of players from Pakistan to feature in the event to be held from Friday to Monday.
Earlier in July, Pakistani bodybuilders won four medals, including a gold, in the 54th Asian Bodybuilding Championship held in Maldives. ■
