DHAKA, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- The early harvest of sugarcane is in full swing in parts of Bangladesh where farmers are busy harvesting the commercially important sugar crop, with the tall tropical perennial plant now hitting the capital Dhaka market. In Bangladesh, the harvesting season of sugarcane usually extends from September to March.
