LUANDA, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- Angolan Minister of Economy and Planning Mario Augusto Caetano Joao has said Angola is seeking to diversify its economy and that the southern African country welcomes more Chinese investment as there will be win-win opportunities for both countries.
In a recent interview with Xinhua, the minister said Angola, as one of the world's largest oil producers, is working to inject vitality into its non-energy sectors, including agribusiness.
The minister said Angola has up to 60 million hectares of arable lands that could be made use of in agricultural cooperation between the two countries.
The minister noted that Angola is working to find more cooperation opportunities with China in the private sector.
